HIRING NEW HEAD COACH (Massillon)
compensation: commission by season

HIRING NEW HEAD COACH OF ADULT SUMMER FOOTBALL TEAM- (Age 18 & up).
MUST BE STRONG, FOLLOW DIRECTION OF OWNER/G.M. OF THE TEAM.
Head Coach will be responsible for reporting to the Ownership/GM of this football organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to carry out the Owner/GM orders/duties
* To understand management vs players
* Work with players on techniques and skills to improve daily
* Help promote and market the team in a positive manner at all times before and during season.
* Have at least 2-3 years coaching experience and at least age 28 or above.
* Understand the philosophy and ownership goals of the team.
Duties: (1) Supervise and give directions to assistant coaches; (2) Plan and organize total practices; (3) Work with Athletic Director on schedule for the season.
Responsibilities/Requirements: (1) Build a positive relationships with the community, teaching staff, coaching staff, and administration; (2) Supervise athletes; (3) Instill the value of physical fitness, social development, sportsmanship and academic achievement in our athletes; (4) Provide adequate instructions for fundamentals; (5) Demonstrate technique and mechanic of fundamentals; (6) Evaluate athlete techniques and mechanic for fundamentals; (7) Correct flaws and defects in athletes; (8) Plan strategies for competition; (9) Make adjustments during competition; (10) Cooperate with fellow coaches, officials and school personnel; (11) Instill a value of knowledge and appreciation for the characteristic of the sport; (12) Organize and run summer and off-season programs. Report in the the best interest of the team to the Ownership/General Manager of this team.
Requirements: (1) Supportive of the Ownership/General Management, athletic staff and assistant coaching staff; (2) Accepts duties assigned by the General Manager; (3) Respects and enforces the letter and intent of rules and regulations and code with integrity; (4) Dress appropriately for practice and games; (5) Display enthusiasm in coaching; (6) Develops athletes' leadership skills; (7) Help players develop and strengthen value and morals; (8) Exhibits knowledge of the sport; (9) Maintain high ethical standard for coaches and players; (10) Promote all sports in the athletic program; (11) Cooperative in sharing facilities; (12) Is prompt in meeting team for practice, competition, buses and meetings.
Qualifications: (1) Must have valid Ohio Drivers License or have satisfactorily completed a coaching training program or display knowledge of the game (2) AED/CPR certified; (3) Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience at high school or youth levels. No criminal record with BCI/or online criminal record search.
Salary: will be discussed at in-person interview.
