Nashville Storm Head Coach Charles Hunter (TSU) has announced that the Nashville Storm ( www.nashvillestormonline.com ) will conduct a final open tryout for prospective members of the 2008 Nashville Storm Minor League Football Team. The tryout will be open to all prospective players who will be at least 18 years of age on or before June 14, 2008. All player applicants should be prepared to spend up to 4 hours at the tryout location. The time, date, and location of the open tryout is as follows:

SATURDAY, MAY 10, 2008, 9:00 AM- STRATFORD HIGH SCHOOL, 1800 STRATFORD AVENUE, NASHVILLE,TN 37216 (TRYOUT WILL BE CONDUCTED ON THE STRATFORD FOOTBALL PRACTICE FIELD TO THE IMMEDIATE LEFT OF THE FOOTBALL STADIUM).

REGISTRATION AND TRYOUT FEES- All registraton and collection of tryout fees will be done between 9 and 10 AM at the Nashville Storm registration table on the morning of the tryout. The tryout fee is $45.00, payable in cash; payment is mandatory to be able to try out. Player-applicants will also be required to fill out and sign registration and biographical forms and waivers.

TRYOUT ATTIRE- All player-applicants should wear running shoes and weather-appropriate workout attire. Helmets and football pads will not be necessary.

TESTING AND DRILLS- All player-applicants will be timed in the 40-yard dash and short shuttle and will be evaluated in drills specific to their positions.

The Nashville Storm are entering their 7th season of play as a member of the 124-team, coast-to-coast NAFL ( www.nafl.org ) with a lifetime W-L record of 72-15 and NAFL South Championships in 2003, 2004, and 2006. Also, in 2006, the Nashville Storm played in the NAFL's National Championship Game at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida.
