The Nashville Storm will conduct its’ first open tryout of 2011 at the following time and place:
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2011, 11:00 AM AT STRATFORD HIGH SCHOOL, 1800 STRATFORD AVENUE, NASHVILLE ,TN 37216.
Cost for a new Nashville Storm player-applicant to try out at our open tryout is $45.00, payable in cash at the registration table. ALL PLAYERS PAYING TO TRY OUT WILL RECEIVE A NASHVILLE STORM NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP T-SHIRT AND 5 FREE ADULT ADMISSION TICKETS TO 2011 NASHVILLE STORM HOME GAMES. ALL PLAYER-APPLICANTS MUST PAY THE TRYOUT FEE BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO TRY OUT.
The tryout will last about 3 hours, with the first hour devoted to the filling out of registration forms and payment of tryout fees. Player-applicants should wear running shoes and weather-appropriate workout clothes. Wearing of football pads and helmets will not be necessary.
The tryout will include timing in the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, L-drill, standing broad jump, and position-specific drills.
Tryout applicants need to be at least 18 years of age with no remaining eligibility for high school football.
