I'm a 24-year-old male from Miami, FL who lacks playing experience except for flag football with offensive/defensive linemen during my freshman year in H.S.
Does anyone know if it's possible to try out for semi-pro football as long as you can long snap? I'm only about 5'8", 165 lbs. but I do work out and know a lot about modern NFL football. Although I can snap a football quite far, I don't know how to do it while bending my head underneath my legs. I only know how to snap using both of my hands while in a 3-point stance and keeping my back straight.
Does size matter for the long snapper (LS) position in this league, and how do the duties for a LS differ from high school, college, and the NFL?
Thanks for taking the time to read my message.
Yours Truly, Adam

About my strength.....I can squat 225+ lbs. It all varies depending on the reps. and how often I hit the gym. I've been able to squat about 500 lbs. in the past.
My bench press is weak for my weight. I've lifted 135 lbs. at the max., but I'm getting back into it now while I'm currently lifting 90-100 lbs.
I've also been taking spinning classes so my speed, agility, acceleration and endurance should be improved. I've been known to run pretty fast, but not elusive fast. Therefore, I'm not sure what my 40-yard dash time is, but I believe it's somewhere between 4.8-5.3 secs.
Here are some pics. of me playing touch football a year ago when I weighed 190 lbs. I've lost 25 lbs. since I finished college and took spinning classes. I'm sporting the dark grey shirt, tan shorts, glasses and dark brown hair:

Sorry, I cannot load the images.
If anyone could help me with this, that'd be appreciated.
Thanks, Adam
