New member, looking for a little advice I guess. I'm 22, going to graduate from a technical college in December. I'm extremely interested in playing some football, and I was just wondering what the outlook is like for people who have no experience playing football before.
I understand the sport, as I'm a NFL follower (Green Bay Packers fan), so I know all about the physical sacrifice. I'm 6'2 and 225 lbs, and have been working out on a regular basis for about a month now. I'm also open to playing any position.
I dunno, I'm very new to the semi-pro scene so I'm still feeling my way around. Just wanted to get an idea if teams are open to newbies. For some reason I just imagine tryouts being swamped with people wanting to play football.

Hey, I'm on the Ft. Bend Storm semi-pro team. We're a new team and this is our second year. We made it to the second round of the playoffs last year. We're looking for some new players, let me know if you're interested!

Do you know of anyone that can play the O line? (We start practice Jan. 9)
