Elite WR I am 6'1 175 lbs 4.33 40 yd dash out of shape. Ran at AFL Tryout which was fastest out of 200 guys. Truly with work I will run a 3.9 to 4.0 with hard work. Speed 9\10 Acceleration 10\10 Catching 10\10 Jump 10\10 Awareness 9\10 Strength 10\10 Agility 10\10 This is a update I have went through a hazardous BS filled season in the semi Pro league here in Nj Hudson County where Baby games ruined my season as well as my team mates. Looking to not waste time with Semi Pro being there wasn't a CB or defense out there who stood a chance. My AFL tryout was cut short because they kicked a bunch of us out before we even completed the tryout because of too many tryoutees. I had the fastest time in the tryout an never was let past the 40 yd dash. Realistically I am open 99% of the time on every route and have the easy ability to pull in 5 to 9 touchdowns a game. And dropping a pass is never a problem being that catching a football is very simple to me. Nicknamed (The Matrix) I have every skill of a WR perfected. I am looking for a training partner to get me to the pros in May and a team for practice. I can get a chance I will break Rices record in 5-7 years no joke. I know how to run perfect routes as well as adjust to the defense. I can burn a CB with a 4.4 speed with a space of 20 yards. If I am not wrapped up I am gone and can break tackles. At physical peak can bench 225lbs 30+ times. I am desperate I need help for I don't want to let my talent to be the best WR ever to go to waste. I am not a cocky person but just straight up. I attend every practice and am a quiet hard working person. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lI1TUh2x2_Q Vid clip of my first tryout in NJ semi pro where I was running a slow 4.39 40 yd dash. That was on sand field. I am just sitting around trying anything I can to prove myself that I am a elite Pro WR any help would be appreciated. Shawn Troyer Cell Phone: 201-673-7649 So far nothing of value has turned up!

I do like what I have heard. The extensive talk makes me seriously consider wanting to be part of the Spartans and the fact is I have heard only good things about your organization. Might be the tune up I need before I go Pro.

Sure you could play fee free most. Not to sound biased but you have to be the fastest WR in NJ. Lets us know something!!!!! You should play for a team that will help you get better. Fast you are but there are some holes in your game. You should play were you are going to be challenged to get better. Some of the best WR's in the area play for a Gridiron Elite Program. Visit any of our website at nyspartans.org and nybandits.org. If you are as young and talented as you seem we can also help place you in college.
Facts are Facts do your research

Well I am leaning heavily toward the Spartans and so far I like Coach Moss's attitude for mine is the same way. I have holes? Well how would you know that? I like criticism if it is warranted because it forces me to become better. I see it one way i can only get better with no limits for limits are what you place upon yourself.

I work harder than anybody and attend every practice as anyone would tell you. Last year it was for nothing since our team collapsed and I was screwed. That is what I am afraid of once again. I gave everything I had every practice and all for nothing really is a downer.

For instance you catch almost every ball with your body on the film. You could use your hands, head and feet more to get in and out of your breaks. Your are fast but fast doesn't make you anything but a deep threat at best. Not knocking you but make sure you go someplace where they can help you get better.
Do your research on the Elite some of the best WR's in the game play here. Research names like Quincy Banks, Jovan Garcia, Lenny Gonzalez, Anthony Reece and Rashid Darrisaw

Well actually I don't catch with my body at all. Always hands is the first thing a WR should know. You must not have seen me play then to say that. My problem in the beginning was that I would try to catch it with my palms but coordinated myself to only fingertip catch. This was the begining of the season and as you see not once did I body the catch. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lI1TUh2x2_QI will research those names but all the research I feel I need are all the Jerry Rice Vids I have studied. Doesn't get better than that. I want to go to the Spartans the more I think about everyday just worrying about being able to pay. I am poor always been poor it took a miracle last year to just get my equipment. I just looked at some vids with your WR core sorry but I in fact am much better than those guys. They have no break away Speed and no hands. Their routes are sloppy though. Seen a drop by #8 in the endzone that was in his hands. They don't know how to go back for the ball when under thrown. I know you have never seen me play now to tell me to look those guys up. Without any egotistical intent I am light years ahead of those guys. And I can back that up any time. In my youtube vid I was running a slow 3.39 and had decent space. That was the first day and it only got better. When we played the Spartans the CBs gave up trying to defend and just grabbed my jersey and face mask almost every time. They even got flagged for it. We had the best CB in the league on our team he ran a 4.36 and their was only one time ever he was able to get me and that was due to the ball being under thrown and he took it out of the air from me. I can take any CB in the league mark my words. The guy in the youtube vid quit after that vid was taken I hurt his feeling so bad. Again what film are you talking about that I catch with my body?

Ok Castor Troy
My criticisms wasn't unfounded nor were they designed to be hurtful just trying to shoot straight with you. Too often I see young men like yourself come around with NFL dreams and I watch people use them and feed them lies. My initial thought after your comments were to just walk away. Then I thought maybe you have been lead astray and find the need to be disrespectful but I figure I would break it down for you maybe it will help, maybe you walk away but hey I will give it a shot.
Haven't seen you play but looked at the 4 routes you ran on your video. The first two routes you clearly catch the ball with your body. If you get some time find a light pole and stand behind it while someone tosses you the ball high and low. This will help you with your hands. After every catch especially in practice really focus on catching with your hands and putting the ball away.
When I mentioned using your head and hands out of the break once again you weren't in the video. You were rounding off routes and not pushing hard out of the break. . The idea is simple you shoot your head away from your break then snap it around. You drive the break side elbow into the body in an attempt to really snap the route around. Always look back to the QB with your hands as a good DB will begin to read your hands and if you don't show them then he knows you aren't expecting the ball. Then when you want to snap off the two move routes we call it taking a picture of the QB. Out of the first break look back get your head and hands up the snap off the second half of the route.
You also said you ran a 3.39 not sure if you know thats better than world class speed and at that rate you would smoke every Olympic record. You can be fast but could be faster if you had better balance out your take off. Your elbows in your takeoff could also be tighter driving them through the center of your body. Plus you make every DB think your route will go long and will help with the shorter routes.
Last but not least, different coaches call it something different but we call it stemming up. When D's play with leverage you need to take it away by stemming them up and then getting back on top of the route. Watch some film on your favorite guy Jerry Rice, see what his best route was and how he snaps his head around.
Lastly, your confidence is oblivious but your approach will limit your growth especially if you want to play college ball or something like that.
Once again Good Luck, I know a little bit about this game.

Well thanks for the tips no matter what I believe I have no limits and can only get better. No disrespect did I mean but when I caught the balls in the vid I caught with my hands just happened to be the palms which is not good. That was the first day of tryouts for the stars. Before that I hadn't played football for 10 years. I wish I could just get a break cuz I know I could break the record for the 40 if given the opportunity.
Thanks for the help I really do appreciate it. And who are you exactly?
