About The USA Eagles Football Club:
The USA Eagles Football Club was founded to promote the development of the sport of American Football within the United States as well as with our friends who play the sport internationally within their respective countries. We support the growth and development of the sport domestically by providing post-collegiate playing opportunities for deserving athletes and, internationally, by participating in competitive Exhibition, Charity and Friendship Games and Tournaments.
We recruit and accept those athletes, coaches and administrative support staff who best exhibit the characteristics of Ambassadors and Champions of Citizenship and Sportsmanship. To express interest in participation with The USA Eagles Football Club as an athlete, coach or support staff member, either see the Team Information Link on this website for the appropriate application (Athlete, Coach or Support Staff) or write the Team at rudy@usfaf.org for an application package.
Our History:
The USA Eagles was founded in 2001, originally under the name Team USA Football, through the hard work and vision of Rudy Wyland and Heinz Puschendorf. Since that time the Team has participated in events in more than ten countries and provided opportunities to participate in international events to more than 300 athletes, coaches and support staff. No other U.S. American Football Organization has participated in more international games or traveled as extensively and gained as much experience as The USA Eagles Football Club.
Our Future Goals:
The USA Eagles will continue to grow as an organization and expand our opportunities to participate in Club Level games around the world. We will continue to recruit great ambassadors and representatives of our sport from across the United States and make our organization attractive to Corporate Sponsors and Partners. Our immediate plans for 2009 include up to three international games (all to take place in Europe and Mexico) as well as hosting as many as two domestic games featuring guests from Canada, Mexico and Europe. Please see our upcoming events located in the News & Information page of this website for additional information.
