The next tryout of the 2010-11 off-season is taking place in the Birmingham, Ala., area on Jan. 22:
Birmingham, AL area
What: Calgary Stampeders open tryout
When: Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011
Where: Spain Park High School — 4700 Jaguar Dr., Hoover, AL

Cost: $80 — cash only
Surface: Field Turf and Grass
Bring appropriate workout gear (i.e. shorts, cleats, water)
Registration begins at 9 a.m. at which time participants will be weighed and measured. Each participant will be put through a number of Canadian Football League-specific athletic tests and drills such as the 40-yard dash, short shuttle, borad jump and vertical jump.
This will be followed by individual position drills and one-on-ones.
Phoenix area
