We are creating a new Semi Pro Football team in Humble TX, Which is just northeast of Houston.... Right now we are just looking to build a foundation before full on recruiting.
We are looking for Volunteer Coaches, and players who want to help start and lead a football team.
This will be a team with a solid Christian foundation but that does not mean everyone on the team has to be a Christian but we will have high moral standards and will be looking for integrity and character fill people to help start this organization.
We are trying to build something that will last a long time so we will not be excepting any riff raff on this team and if rules are broken people will be asked to leave. Our main goal is not to find talented football players are main goal is to
find people who will buy into the mission, work hard, be selfless and all and all just have good character. I would rather have 15 average players who work their tail off than 40 super talented but super lazy players who cause disruption.... I have been on several teams that had high talent but ended up with just a couple wins because of all the riff raff these "Superstars" cause.......
So all that being said if you are a hardworking man who shows up to all the practices but don't think your talented enough to play semi pro ball....i'll beg to differ cause I know how much hardwork will get you and i would rather have you than not so come help start this team.
As far as coaches go I don't need someone with the big resume all I need is men who want to help others succeed, who are good at listening as well as teaching and your experience is secondary.... I can teach you anything you need to know about the X's and O's but whats more important is that you can LISTEN/LEARN and that you have a Teachers mindset.....we don't need someone who thinks they are the next Bill Belichick or John Madden or whoever......most importantly be willing to learn and listen secondly be willing to take time and teach...... Your age and experience is not a huge factor just have a drive to coach.

This sounds like a great opportunity, I'm looking to get back into football ASAP. I currently hold a position at academy sports & outdoors. I played collegiate football at Savannah state university for 2 years before departing to focus on my education. I will always be in love with football. I plan on winning a championship with the team I join, and eventually working my way up to the national football league. I hope that some people on the team feel the same way.

When are tryouts very curious I've been in the league for 3 years started last 4 games last year and all 10 the previous I have great hands, hardwork and dedication to be at practice and most of all I like to win I'm not very big but a big punch comes in small packaging and we made it to the 2nd round of playoffs last year.
