OKC Banshees Looking For Coaches

The Oklahoma City Banshees is a women's full contact football team that will be entering its inaugural season as a member of the IWFL (Independent Women's Football League). The IWFL is a league that was founded in 2000. The IWFL has the distinction of being the longest running women's football league in the country. The mission of the Banshees is to transform athlete’s lives through football. With a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the game, a commitment to serving the community, and establishing long lasting personal relationships. The Assistant Football Coach will provide support to the head coach and team by carrying out the following responsibilities: recruiting, involvement practices and games, player development, daily administrative duties assigned by the head coach, and ability to represent the philosophy of the Oklahoma City Banshees and IWFL. We are seeking coaches with a strong work ethic, knowledge of various offensive and defensive schemes, the ability to work in a team environment. THIS IS A UNPAID VOLUNTARY POSITION. ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Must have exceptional leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of the sport of football.
• Experience in coaching and playing football experience.
• USA Football certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid, insurable driver's license is required, with ability to travel.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of the sport of football
• Ability to travel and maintain flexible hours
• Prior coaching and competitive experience is required
