Coach Smith, I appreciate the offer for us to come to Atlanta. But if you want to see the best in the NAFL South...your going to have to make a trip down to the beach. In 2007 we beat the USFL Champs, Montgomery Buffaloes, and would love to have your team come down and visit us like they did. May might be a little early for us....since our season doesn't start until the second weekend in July. Try to figure out your BYE week and see about coming down to play us. Thank You. THANX COACH, BUT WHEN OUR SEASON BEGINS,WE ONLY HAVE ONE OFF WEEK IN THE 2009 SEASON AND THAT WILL BE THE JULY 4TH WEEKEND. UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE COMMITTED TO TRAVEL ONCE FOR THE PRESEASON AND THE OTHER AVAILABLE DATE WE WOULD LIKE TO BE HOME INSTEAD OF TRAVELLING 5 TO 6 HOURS. AND YES CONGRATS ON THE VICTORY OVER THE MONTGOMERY BUFFALOES IN 2007. BUT THAT WAS THEN AND THIS IS NOW! THE GREAT THING ABOUT THAT WIN OVER THE THEN USFL CHAMPION, WAS COACH STANTON WAS CALLED AT LAST MINUTE TO PLAY THAT GAME. HE AGREED TO PLAY ON SHORT NOTICE BECAUSE THAT WAS A BENEFIT GAME TO RAISE MONEY FOR A YOUNG LADY IN YOUR AREA WHO HAD SUFFER A TRAGIC INCIDENT. HE SHOWED UP WITH HALF OF THE 2007 USFL CHAMPIONS MONTGOMERY BUFFALOES, BECAUSE HE WASN'T PLAYING THAT GAME FOR VICTORIES OR FOR THE RECORD.HE GATHERED UP A FEW PLAYERS WHO DID IT FOR A GOOD REASON, SHOWED UP AND PROVIDED AN OPPONENT FOR YOUR TEAM TO PLAY AND RAISE MONEY FOR THE YOUNG LADY... SO THE X-TREME TRAVELLING DOWN TO THE BEACH PROBABLY WOULD NOT BE IN THE FUTURE FOR THE 2009 SEASON.

Thank You Coach Smith. Good Luck in your 2009 season. I am not here to argue about past accomplishments. You are correct that was then and this is now. We did play in a benefit game for a young lady named Tara Blackwell and we won. I have tryed to contact Coach Stanton multiple times this season for us to travel to Montgomery and return the favor of them coming to play in our game. I still haven't heard from him. In no way was I trying to disrespect his team. I know a few of the players on there team and they are quality athletes. I understand they came with a few less people, but more than half of our starters did not play. It was a good game, they were a good team, and i would still love to play them in the future. The same goes for your X-treme team. Keep my email addres and I'll save yours, maybe we can negotiate something in the future since 2009 seems so unlikely. Thank you and again good luck in 2009.
