The UNGL announced today in the Birmingham News that they would play in Legion Field in Birmingham. They will begin play on February 8, 2009. They claim that they will pay players $750-$1000 per game.
The Birmingham Bears will begin workouts now to give players an opportunity to get into this league. They only have four weeks before they kick off.
