The league website at www.efafootballleague.com has recently been updated and cleaned up for 2009. You can go there to get more info or team e-mail the league. A new, more exciting website is in the design stage now and will be available in a few weeks as soon as ti's completed by the new webmaster. The league bylaws have been updated and revised and sent to the league owners for approval of a final draft, before it's published.
League management has changed and expanded. Mr. Al Chambliss, formerly head coach of the Brooklyn Seminoles and Assistant coach of the Westchester Steelers and Brooklyn Cobras, has been named commissioner of the Northern Conference and Damon Kearsley will continue his duties for the Mid-Atlantic conference. The commissioner's duty will include overseeing the day to day operations of the conference, field issues, scheduling issue, discipline issues, roster issues and all other business important to running the conference. Steve Ellis will remain as President of the League but will not have power to overrule the commissioner's decision on day to day matters. A five member board will hear all appeals of commissioner's decisions. Field marshals for each conference, to assist and evaluate on game day, will soon be announced in each conference.
