Registration for the Collegiate Development Football League (CDFL) Elite Team is now open. The team is limited to a maximun of 40 players and positions will be filled on a first come, need basis. The CDFL Elite Team season will start Sept 13, 2009 and will conclude Nov. 1,2009. with the first annual North American Collegiate Development Bowl vs the Canada based Niagra X-Men.
The registration fee is $250 to become a member of the CDFL Elite team. The team will practice weekly and play a series of games (4 minimum) as indicated by the following rough draft Schedule. Players will be responsible to provide thier own equipment and travel costs. All home games and practices will be held at the CDFL field headquarters in Hillburn, New York (Near Suffern NY). Are you Eligible?
The CDFL is open to all 18-24 year old males who are 18 years of age prior to July 6, 2009 and who are not 25 years old prior to September 1, 2009. Documentation of age is necessary prior to July 1, 2009 (copy of birth certificate, driver license, passport, etc). All players must also be amateurs - No exceptions. If you are eligible, please proceed through the registration list.

Player Registration for the CDFL Elite Team is $250. Payable by Check or Money Order. Fill out the Player registration form at www.playCDFL.com

Finish the Registration Process.
Mail in the forms: Player Agreement Form, Documentation of Age (copy of birth certificate, driver’s license, passport, etc), Emergency Medical Form, and Adult Waiver , by Sept 10, 2009. A doctor authorized physical must be submitted to the CDFL prior to Sept 13, 2009 (The physical date must be within one year of Sept 13, 2009).

Once all CDFL registration information is received, reviewed and authorized, a team packet will be mailed to all players containing the following:
* Introductory letter of acceptance
* CDFL pre-season training information
* CDFL playbooks
* Itinerary of practices/games
* Practice day schedule and procedures
* Game dates/schedule
* Equipment needs list
* Directions to league headquarters, game fields and practice fields
* CDFL Berecruited.com Free profile
* CDFL Promotional information
* CDFL Player Sponsorship information
* CDFL Elite team discounts information
All players are expected to adhere to the player agreement statements signed at the time of registration. All players will be expected to provide their own:
* Proper fitting helmet (white with white mask only)
* Shoulder pads
* Hip pads
* Knee pads
* Thigh pads
* Turf cleats.
Equipment rental and/or purchase will be available through the league as a member benefit at below retail prices. All players will be drug/steroid free. All players will report to CDFL events on time, in proper physical shape, and have a sound understanding of the offensive and defensive playbooks.
