I played four years at southern illinois university. i wore the number 3. my name is chauncey mixon and i am 6'1 223lbs, i can play LB/S and or any other position, im an athlete.
2009: Named Second Team All-MVFC
2008: Named Second-Team All-MVFC...Started 11 games and finished second on the team in sacks with five...Earned MVFC Player-of-the-Week honors for his 13 tackle performance at Illinois State that included four tackles for loss.
2007: Third-team Sports Network All-American and second-team all-conference selection...Led the Salukis with 118 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss and seven pass breakups...Ranked second on the team with five sacks for a loss of 38 yards...Finished among the top-10 conference leaders in total tackles (9th), sacks (6th) and tackles for loss (t2nd)...Registered double-digit tackles in five games...Earned the league's Defensive Player-of-the-Week award for his 14-tackle, one-sack performance against Youngstown State.
