NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR.— Former NFL,CFL and Indoor Football League player Garrick Jones and The Gridiron Developmental Football League have agreed to partner for The Gridiron Developmental Football League Championship Weekend and All-Star Extravaganza. The 2010 edition is slated for the weekend of September 24th through 26th in Memphis,Tennessee. Mr. Jones will be a guest speaker, head scout, and also will be introduced as The Gridiron Developmental Football League’s official ambassador/ spokesman. ” I think the game of football teaches us so much about life. It builds character in all of us. The building blocks to success are, waking up, giving thanks, then putting your head down and going to work” stated Jones when asked about his career and life. ” I’m excited about being the spokesman for and partnering with the GDFL, this partnership has the potential to be something major for pro football hopefuls in the league”. Jones is an avid community leader and philanthropist, who is founder of Pro Football 101′s Truth From The Trenches Focus Group & 1on 1 Sessions program based out of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
