The 2009 Comets got what they needed,the blocked field goal secured a 16-14 victory over the Columbus Fire at Grove City Christian School in Columbus on Saturday and the team’s first league MCFL Championship in its eighth season of play. Now the GDFL has gotten the commitment that we needed to really elevate the play in the Ohio Valley Division the Comets are a great addition to the GDFL and we know that Mr.Wells brings a lot of experience to the table that will be very valuable to our young teams in the Ohio Valley Division.We Wish the Kings Comets much success in 2011 and Welcome them to the "Greatest Minor Pro Football League Ever Created." www.gdfl.org
