This has been an exciting time for the Gridiron Developmental Football League. I would like to take this time to welcome the 2011 member teams .Thank you for your support & commitment in wanting to be a part of history and for joining one of the greatest Minor pro football leagues ever established.
We feel we have built a successful League for anyone that wants to become a part of a National program that will be run with integrity, pride, commitment& dedication. One that’s run without all of the politics involved. A place where a team like the Jay County Panthers that has once struggled with scheduling, broken promises, and just general information on how to become a successfully ran minor pro football team can now thrive.
The Gridiron Developmental Football League will have a support group this year that will assist teams with concerns such as field issues, travel plans, business plans and so much more. We believe by implementing this type of assistance, that teams WILL become successful, if that is truly their goal. We will provide a Resource Center with live assistance. Also there will be reference points on how to build a successful minor-pro football team. We realize that even with this type of support teams can still fail.
That is why we have set up our Quality Control Team who will be constantly monitoring teams that have had past failures and will make solid decisions to both enhance those teams and protect the GDFL brand.
It is important that all members of the GDFL stay focused on the task at hand .There will always be naysayers, doubters, and negative comments made. In order to be a continued success, we must rise above such nonsense and consistently provide the type of dedication and service that makes the GDFL a shining example of a league that flies high above the standard level of excellence.
In closing, I personally thank all owners, coaches, staff, and players for your support. But most all I thank you GOD for blessing me with this Vision!!!!
Sincerely,
Charles Thompson
