Both teams are known for explosive offenses but scoring came at a premium in the first half. The Noles found themselves down 12-0 before Marcus Brooks hooked up with Fred Cromartie, cousin of former FSU star Antonio Cromartie, for a long touchdown pass and catch. The Noles were then awarded a safety after a snap went over the head of Warriors QB Deion Graham in the 2nd quarter. South Georgia seemed to be down and out trailing by 3 touchdowns in the 4th but thanks to a defensive score and 2 more tds, the Noles prevailed with a 30-28 win. The Noles improved to 4-0 while the Warriors dropped to 4-1. South Georgia will have to travel to Jacksonville to battle it out with the 1-4 Florida Rhinos next week. The Noles' next home game will be against the Georgia Crush on July 30th at Terrell County High in Dawson. Copyright 2011 WALB . All rights reserved.
