The Cardinals ended the Thunder's 52 game winning streak, which was their first lost in Oklahoma Thunder history. The Thunder have been playing football since 2008 and had won three consecutive championships in their respective league prior to losing in the GDFL National Championship game. With the win the Chambersburg Cardinals extended their consecutive game winning streak to 25 games with the championship game win while adding their 13th title since the teams 1946 inception. The Chambersburg Cardinals played in the Xtreme Conference who have won both GDFL Championships since it's inception. More Details to follow.
