The OMFL has been reformed as the Oklahoma Minor Football League. The reminaing teams from the Oklahoma Metro Football League had decided that the need to continue the base format of the league was too great to let go and reformed the league. The OMFL will host 5 teams this season within the OKC metro area. The teams, Del City Silverbacks, OKC Diamondbacks, Oklahoma Force, Oklahoma Madddogs and the Spencer Katz all are existing teams with at least 3 years playing time.
The first move the newly reformed league had initiated was to bring back the original commissioner from the OMFL, Chris Dodson. Next, the league brought in Anita King as league administrator and Mike Stewart as Sports Information Director.
This season will mark the first time the Central Football League and the OMFL will face-off in head to head match-ups from the previous season's standings. Check out www.oklahomaminorfootballleague.com for details.
