SJ Lynx Combine

The South Jersey Lynx will be introducing an NFL Style Combine to their players to serve as an audition/tryout for perspective players looking to join the team. The combine is open to the public and all participant progress will be recorded for evaluation by the coaching staff. Players will be evaluated in 6 assessment drills (bench, 3-cone, 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump and shuttle run) along with their perspective individual position drills.
*Combine is for new players only, if you have not completed an entire season on a Lynx roster, you are considered a new player. Any player 2 or more years removed from the Lynx will need a combine exemption from Coach Lester Cream Jr. (856.870.8064) Every position will have an open competition, no starters have been named for 2012.
When: March 17, 2012
Registration and Warm-Ups: 9:30a - 10:00a
Combine Start: 10:00a (OL, DL, LB) 10:45a (QB, RB, WR, DB, P/K)
Where: Stockton Station Park, East Camden, NJ

There is a $35 non-refundable registration fee required to participate in the combine. Early registration is $25 on or before Monday, March 12. If you do not satisfy the requirement for early registration, you will responsible for the full amount. All participants must be 18+ and will be required to register online @ www.southjerseylynx.org. If you make the roster, your registration will be applied to your merchandise package.
With paid registration, all participants will receive a combine t-shirt for the workout and a voucher for 2 South Jersey Lynx game tickets with instructions on how to redeem at the event.
The 2012 SJ Lynx Combine will be held at Stockton Station Park, a $10 million recreation area at the Catto Demonstration Project including a school and a Boys and Girls Club in East Camden, NJ. In addition to a fenced-in skateboarding area, the park - on north end of Rosedale Avenue, off Westfield Avenue - got a synthetic-turf multipurpose field, basketball courts, a baseball field, and chess tables.
In recognition of Saint Patrick's Day, the Lynx have incorporated the holiday into the event.
