The Port Huron Patriots are proud to announce that they will be holding an open try out on Sunday August 19th. We will be looking at QB, WR, RB, DB, LB. There will be another tryout for both Offensive and Defensive Line, and Special Teams in the fall. If you think you have what it takes to be part of a professional football team then we encourage you to take the next level with the Port Huron Patriots. The tryout will run from 1-5 pm, with registration starting at 12 pm. Location is the Total Sports Complex in Novi, MI. The cost of the tryout is $50 if pre registered and $65 the day of the tryout. Open Try-Out to Offense & Defense Line Players (only)
Sunday September 30th
Registration: 12:00 to 1:00pm
Work-Out: 1:00 pm to 5:00pm
Equipment: Shoulder Pads and Helmet, Mouth Guard, Shorts, and Cleats.
Location: Sports Academy (same practice location as last season) on 23 Mile Rd. We will practice outside if weather permits and inside if it rains.
ALL Non- Offense & Defense line players will be by invitation only. Any QB, RB, WR, CB, LB, S that shows up and was not personal approved by me will be instructed to leave.
Game Plan:
13:00 to 14:00 Warm-up, 40 yd dash timed (everyone); basic warm-up drills lead by Team Captains.
14:00 to 15:30 Designed plays with full contact.
15:30 to 16:30 Offense will run plays in game situation, with 35 second game clock, 10 yard markers, flags, and the best game situation we can deliver and still coach and mentor. I want to see "real time" players!
16:30 to complete: Interview by coaches.

I played at Akron University, and also Northwood University. I played professionally for the Saginaw Sting in 2008.
