CFL FREE AGENT TRYOUT
An open player tryout will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at The College of the Sequoias, in Visalia, California. The school is located at 915 South Mooney Boulevard Visalia, CA 93277. Camp coordinator and former 7 year CFL pro Keith Gooch, along with numerous CFL and AFL scouts will be there evaluating the players. Representative Roy Shivers of the B.C Lions as well as others will also be in attendance.
The cost of the tryout is a $100 registration fee by cash only the day of the event. All fees are non-refundable. On the day of the tryout, registration will begin at 8 a.m., with stretching starting promptly at 9:30 a.m. Players will be tested on their 40-yard time, broad jump and short shuttle with other position-specific drills and one-on-ones to follow. Please bring appropriate workout gear and shoes/cleats. Testing will take place on field turf – no metal cleats are permitted. If you have film or highlight tapes please bring for further consideration.
