Columbus Lions of the Professional Indoor Football League
The next tryout has been set for Janurary 26th, 2013 at Proehlific Park in Greensboro, NC. Tryouts will begin at 1:30pm with registration starting at 12:30pm.
Participants can pre-register online at www.columbuslions.net. The pre-registration fee is $40.00 and should be in the form of a check, money order, or credit card. All registration payments and forms need to be mailed to the Lions office at 400 4th Street Columbus, GA 31901. Registration the day of the tryouts will be $60.00, and will only be accepted in the form of cash or money order (NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.) Participants should wear athletic shorts, tennis shoes or cleats for a field turf grass surface. No metal cleats will be permitted. Players will be tested in the 40 yard dash, 20 yard short shuttle, and the “L” drill. Following the testing, participants will do position specific drills and 1 on 1’s. The tryout is expected to last 3 hours.
